Inside our 1860’s farmhouse sits a dinning table that has been in the Wardlaw family for over 150 years.  This little piece of history was crafted with wooden pegs, square nails, and tongue & groove joints.  It is as solid today as it was the day it was constructed. One end has  knife marks where meat was butchered and on the other end you will find grease stains from hand-churned butter. Virtually every inch of this heirloom contains marks that give it character.

This table embodies everything that we believe at The Resolute Craftsman.  We believe in building heirlooms, not just functional products.  We believe in crafting items that will stand the test of time and allow you to pass them down through the generations of your family and loved ones.   You see, we know that things are better when you spend quality time with your family around a meal.  Spending time with dad as he carves ham on the family’s butcher block.  Everyone has items that bring back memories and we take great pride in offering products that will help families carry on traditions and perhaps create new ones.

It is with these thoughts and principals in mind that we hand select the lumber, hardware and components that go into creating our products.  From desks to artwork, candles to shelving… we take the extra time to make sure we help you tell the story that you want to tell.  The little details matter.
